Did you know you can freeze cherry tomatoes? My garden was a flop this year but, boy oh boy, do I have the cherry tomatoes. I just hate to see food go to waste and better yet I love to take home grown veggies out of the freezer in the middle of winter and throw them in a soup or casserole.
Freezing cherry tomatoes is quite easy. Wash them, dry them, then place them on a cookie sheet (or other flat pan or dish) in a single layer. Freeze them, then place in freezer bags like I did above. You can take out what you need when you need them because they don't stick together.
Yay!
